The Challenge:
A New York State client in the Aerospace industry needed new equipment to assimilate space conditions The requirement was to test a multitude of gases under full vacuum and extremely high flows in an aerospace wind tunnel.
The Solution:
This particular solution warranted an automated ball valve. R.M. Headlee coordinated with A-T Controls was able to provide “leak free” valves (A-T Series 8R (18) 1/4” – 1” 3-piece) by machining the seat configuration and re-engineering the packing design.
The Result:
By working with their clients and vendors R.M. Headlee was able to provide – a leak-free valve, 100% customer satisfaction and on-time project completion!
